Brooklyn BounceThe support team for Brooklyn Bounce consists of two producers, remixers and DJs who call Hamburg home: Matthias 'Double M' Menck and Dennis Bohn. Matthias is a qualified audio engineer, and besides living in Hamburg also operates his own studio there. He has been able to use his specialized training not only for producing and remixing work, but also when doing DJ gigs. Which is why Double M is resident DJ at the Kontor, one of the Hamburg's hottest house clubs, and why he accompanied the Progressive Attack Club Tour last autumn, and why he DJs regularly at many different house clubs and has worked the turntables with the likes of Joe T. Vanelli, Robert Miles, DJ Sneak and Boris Dlugosch. It was during a DJ job in the Traxx club in Hamburg that he met Dennis Bohn, who was working there as a light jockey. Dennis had been a drummer since age 16 and was playing with various bands when, four years ago, he discovered his love for dance and house music and first tried his hand at DJing. Since then he has been snatched up to do raves, house parties and club work, and he is now a regular feature at the Traxx and Roxx clubs in Hamburg. |
